Celebrate the Harvest

A social afternoon at the Dreel Tavern to celebrate the first year of growing food at the Dreelside Allotments.

Saturday 3rd September with a bar-b from 2pm onwards.

More details to follow but expect real ale, Bar-B-Q and live music plus a good social in the beer garden.

Dear folk of the allotments and friends
 
This month is very very special! Why you may ask.... well, it is because there are going to be two (yes, 2!) plot folk communal work days!
 
Rabbits are being a bit of a pest, so we are having a crack down on the north fence (not on the bunnies) and various other fun things.
 
Whens, whats and wheres
 
Sunday 15th May - this Sunday, 11am onwards
Tasks are to:
- Patch up the north fence
- Define boundaries of plots and paths
- Put up seed screening on west fence
 
Sunday 29th May
- Details coming soon.

As you will see, these wee jobs are for everyone's benefit (except the rabbits), so please come along to one or both of the working days.
